45mm - DOOR LEAF THICKNESS
Günther Tore Classic panel, with 8 textured variants, has a thickness of 45mm and it is made in "closed circuit" design from high quality steel sheet with polyurethane foam filling modified with polyamide particles (PUR-PA). This feature offers high mechanical stability.
Protection against corrosion and finish of the sheet are tested in independent laboratories, both in terms of mechanical resistance, with the Crock instrument, as well as in terms of corrosion resistance by extreme exposure to saline vapors for 750 hours (equivalent to 15 years in a coastal or industrially polluted region). The sheet is folded 4 times in the areas of screws’penetration of the screws.
The heat transfer coefficient is calculated individually for the entire door, taking into account all the losses. For example, for a 2500x2200mm garage door, U = 1,233 W / m2K, and for a 6000x3000mm door, U = 1,048 W / m2K, equivalent to a brick wall with a thickness of 60cm. The certification of the results was performed at the IFT Rosenheim Testing Institute (Germany).
STAINLESS STEEL COMPONENTS
A feature that highlights the Günther Tore Classic garage door is the hardware. The roller brackets and hinges are made of stainless steel AISI 430. Besides the superior protection, the appearance of the door on the inside is indeed premium.
The high chromium content (16-18%) of the hardware maintains its functionality and appearance in buildings with high humidity - non-ventilated garages and buildings located on coastal or industrially polluted areas.
You can choose from 8 variants of insulated sandwich panel: Microwelle, S-Type smooth, S-Type woodgrain, M-Type smooth, M-Type woodgrain L-Type smooth, L-Type woodgrain, Kassette smooth, Kassette woodgrain. The embossing is "orange peel" type. Each of these panels has a "standard" range of up to 9 RAL colors, up to 3 wood decorations and up to 2 special decorations (ADS 703 Anthracite Gray, ADS 704 Graphite).

The weight of the garage door is compensated by torsion springs or tension springs, both variants with a minimum lifespan of 25000 cycles. If the torsion springs are quieter, the tension springs offer a more elegant interior appearance, being hidden in the vertical guiding rails.

- low mounting with torsion springs: 125mm
- high lift with torsion springs: 500mm
- low mounting with tension springs: 125mm

For easy pedestrian access, the garage door can, of course, be equipped with wicket door. The hinges are hidden and specially designed to remove the danger of trapping the fingers from the outside, even between the panels, when the door is closing. As desired, the pedestrian door can have a "normal" threshold of 100mm or a "flat" threshold of 20mm, for easier access or passing with the bicycle wheels.
For natural lighting inside your garage, you can choose from dozens of glazing options. You can choose the shape (square, rectangular, round etc) and the color of the window frame (door color, other color or stainless steel), but also the type of window (transparent, translucent).

The double sealing on all four sides makes the Günther Tore garage door have an excellent real heat transfer coefficient. The smaller this is, the higher the thermal insulation. The coefficient is calculated automatically for each door separately and takes into account all the characteristics of the door (dimensions, accessories, wicket door, etc.). When the door is closed, all the rubber seals are pressed evenly and the outside appearance is impeccable.
In the lower part, the tubular gasket is doubled by an elegant skirt on the outside. On the vertical profiles and the horizontal one from the lintel double-skinned seals are installed. The joint between the sides is also very well carried out.
OPENING IN 9 SECONDS
A quick opening of the garage means, first of all, less time spent in front of the door. When the entrance in the garage is done directly from the street, this can cause traffic shortcomings.
If a conventional garage door with a height of 2.1m opens in about 20 seconds, the Günther Tore garage door opens in about 10 seconds. This means about one hour per year lost in front of the garage, waiting for the door to open. A faster opening-closing cycle also helps reduce thermal losses by decreasing the time the door stays open.
The range of German Marantec automation equipping Günther Tore garage doors includes 3 models:
C360, for doors up to 110Kg / 3m wide - opening with 22cm/sec
C370, for doors up to 185Kg / 5.5m wide - opening with 23.5cm/sec
C380, for doors up to 220Kg / 6m wide - opening with 18cm/sec
These high speeds are reached by progressive acceleration, and the stop is also preceded by a deceleration.
Naturally, the automations comply with all the safety regulations in force.
Remote operation of a garage door is an incomplete function if it does not provide feedback on the status of the door. Often the garage door is simply not within the user's visual range. The Marantec Digital 663 remote control, part of the standard delivery set, indicates through its led the opening or closing movement. Also, this remote control allows remote door status queries. In this way we can find if the door is closed or open. In addition to Digital 663, there is also a small remote control Digital 572 in the delivery set.
The radio control system uses 128-bit bi-linked encryption technology, that is the same algorithm as in banking security, doubled by the rolling code technology. This makes impossible the attempt of brake in by decoding or copying the access codes. Remote controls have high immunity to interferences..
Operation feedback and remote operation gain new dimensions with the help of the Maveo control unit and mobile application. All Marantec automations are compatible with the Maveo system. Thus you can manage from your mobile phone, even while on holiday, your garage door, as well as your Marantec automation of the entrance gate. SAFETY AGAINST BURGLARY
Günther Tore garage door automations can be equipped with the accessory Special 108. This cancels the attempt of forcing the lift of the door through a mechanical locking mechanism.
The ATS package can be installed on doors with maximum dimensions of LxH = 4200x3250mm and consists of:
- locking system reinforced with metal plates both inside and outside
- door cylinder with protection against extraction
- solid rollers and roller brackets, used normally for industrial doors
- upper steel roller with bracket reinforced with thick, galvanized sheet
- solid steel galvanized lower roller bracket with 6 fixing points
- protection elements against the roller removal
- floor reinforcement for vertical guiding rail
0.6W/h CONSUMPTION IN STAND-BY
The passive house is a highly energy efficient home that requires a small amount of energy to ensure a comfortable indoor climate. In the construction of such a house, the thermal insulation must be maximum and the energy consumption minimum. The German Marantec automation of the Gunther Tore garage doors contain the patented Blue Line technology. This ensures extremely low standby power consumption of only 0.6W /h; that is, 6 to10 times less than conventional automation.
During severe storms, voltage drops are a common phenomenon. Not being able to enter with the car in the garage in such situations is really unpleasant.
